To be eligible for Independent Living Services, an individual must:

• ⦿ Assessments for determining eligibility and vocational needs.
• ⦿ Counseling, guidance, and work-related placement services.
• ⦿ Mental/Physical Restoration.
• ⦿ Maintenance for additional costs incurred while participating in rehabilitation.
• ⦿ Tuition, books/supplies, room & board, transportation.
• ⦿ Interpreter services for individuals who are deaf and services for those who are blind or visually impaired.
• ⦿ Occupational licenses, tools, equipment, and start-up supplies.
• ⦿ Training services.
• ⦿ Rehabilitation Technology Services.
• ⦿ Native Healing Services.

• ⦿ Must be an enrolled member of a Native American Indian Tribe.
• ⦿ Reside on or *near the Navajo reservation (*within a 20-mile radius).
• ⦿ Have a physical, mental, or emotional impairment that constitutes or results in a substantial impediment to employment.
• ⦿ Required Vocational Rehabilitation services that proceed to employment outcomes.
